"Not as cheap as it first looked"
I thought the plans were going to be a great deal at first, but once I looked closer at the data limits, it didn’t really feel that cheap anymore. The service itself was okay, nothing terrible, but the value just wasn’t there for me. Also, the reminder messages felt way too aggressive, which got annoying quickly.

"Phone compatibility was more hassle than expected..."
My phone showed it was compatible, but when I actually tried to use it... it just didn’t work. Frustrating, honestly

"Porting My Number Was an Absolute Nightmare"
I tried to move my number over to Twigby it turned into this whole dramatic saga I did not sign up for. The port kept getting stuck, and every time I contacted support, I felt like I was getting the same copy-paste answers over and over. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there for days with no working phone, basically feeling like I’d been cut off from civilization. It was so frustrating and way more stressful than it should’ve been

"Account page is more frustrating than it should be"
twigby has been fine overall, but their account page and app are kind of a pain to use. I had to click around way too much just to check my bill and update a couple settings, and sometimes it loads slowly. I also got transferred around when I tried to get help, which made the whole thing even more annoying. It’s not awful, but it definitely feels clunkier than it needs to be...

"Not Great for Travel Calls"
I was really counting on this while traveling, but it just Didn’t work out. My international calls kept failing, and roaming never actually worked for me. Frustrating when you’re away and need to stay connected.

"Billing was confusing, but I guess it is what it is"
I signed up thinking the price was straightforward, so I was surprised when my bill ended up being more than I expected. Maybe I missed something in the fine print, but it definitely didn’t feel as clear as it should have.

I had to click around quite a bit just to figure out what the extra charges were for. Support did respond, and I’ll give them that, but the explanation still didn’t really make the bill make sense to me.

The service itself might be fine for other people, and I can see how some folks wouldn’t mind dealing with it. For me though, I just don’t want to second-guess my bill every month, so I ended up canceling.

"Still Waiting on Support"
I reached out to support and waited days, but still never got a real response. Come on now, at least let me know someone’s looking into it

"Easier than I expected"
I was expecting the setup to be a bit of a hassle, but it actually went smoothly. Activation worked fine after I restarted my phone once. It took me a few minutes to figure everything out, but overall it wasn’t bad at all

"Something felt off with the slow data"
I gave Twigby a try for a little while, but the data speeds were frustrating. Pages would take way too long to load, maps dragged when I needed directions, and videos kept buffering even though my phone showed I had bars. That part made me a little suspicious because it looked like I should’ve had a decent connection, but it just didn’t perform that way. Maybe other people have better luck with it, but for me it got annoying fast

"Decent for the price, but coverage depends on where you are"
Twigby has been okay overall, especially for what I’m paying. Around town, it does the basics just fine, calls go through, texts send, and data is usually good enough for normal stuff.
Where it starts to fall behind is when I’m outside the main area. Compared to friends who are on bigger carriers, I definitely seem to lose signal more often, and sometimes the data slows way down. I’ve even had a couple spots where I had no service at all.

So I wouldn’t call it bad, just a little inconsistent. If you’re mostly staying in well-covered areas, it’s probably fine, but if you’re moving around a lot, it feels average compared to what other people seem to get
